สวัสดีครับ ผมเล้ง ยินดีต้อนรับทุกคนนะครับ วันนี้ผมขอนำเสนอที่มาที่ไปของเพลง "สามัคคีชุมนุม" ผู้ประพันธ์เนื้อร้องเป็นภาษาไทยคือ เจ้าพระยาพระเสด็จสุเรนทราธิบดี หรือ (หม่อมราชวงศ์เปีย มาลากุล ) โดยการนำเอาทำนองบทกวีชาวสกอตแลนด์ที่เขียนขึ้นโดยโรเบิร์ต เบิร์นส (Robert Burns) ในปี ค.ศ. 1788

ชื่อเพลงคือ Auld Lang Syne (ออลด์แลงไซน์)ซึ่งเป็นภาษาเก่าโบราณ สำหรับบทเพลงกวีบทดังกล่าวนี้แปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษสมัยใหม่ (Modern English) คือเพลง “Times Gone By” ครับ
